Tight Knots

Tight Knots is the marriage ministry at Jesus House, designed to meet the needs of couples wherever they may find themselves on the marriage spectrum, in order for them to have God-honouring marriages that thrive on commitment, intimacy and growth. The ministry is committed to helping couples build Christ-centred marriages that will last a lifetime, be a light to the world, and leave a legacy to future generations.

In addition to premarital counselling classes (Two become one) to prepare engaged couples within and outside the church for marriage and help them through the wedding process at Jesus House, Tight Knots also provides confidential one-to-one counselling for married couples when required.

A variety of marriage enrichment events are run to promote godly marriages for members of the church and the community, including prayer sessions for marriages, the couple’s weekend away (usually held over the August bank holiday weekend at a suitable venue), social events such as movie and entertainment nights, and the annual marriage conference.

Tight Knots also provide resources for marriage through a variety of channels, including Outflow, our website and audio recordings of teachings on marriage.

NEWS

We are starting a Life Group for married couples which will run in multiple locations and as such will have a number of leaders. If as a couple, you are interested in running one of these groups (training will be given) and can commit to leading two sessions a year (each session lasting 8 weeks).
